The SLOTS Scheme was launched by SCAL in October 1992 to provide a list of competent subcontractors for the reference of main contractors, consultants and developers. Only SLOTS or BCA registered contractors will be granted work permits for their foreign workers.
To prepare for your application, you will require the follow documents:
- Latest ACRA – Biz Profile (Printed within the last 3 months) with a minimum paid up capital of $50,000
- Latest audited financial statements
- Approved technical qualifications (BCA trade test certificates or relevant trade qualifications)
- Project track records amounting to $100,000/year for on-going and completed project (Must be within 1 year from date of application)

- Latest 6 months CPF Form 90
- Latest WP online record
For registration of the following workheads, please note you will are required to adhere to the Specific Registration Requirements by submitting the relevant documents, as below:
CS06 (Piling) - Specialist Builder Piling Works License SB(PW)
CS11 (Soil Investigation) - Specialist Builder Site Investigation Work SB(SI) license or Specialist Builder Instrumentation and Monitoring Work SB(IM) license
CS13 (Stabilisation & Earthwork Services) - Specialist Builder Ground Support Works and Stabilization Works SB(GS) license
ME04 (Plumbing, Sanitary and Gas Piping and Sewerage Works) - PUB Plumber License or EMA Gas Service Worker License
ME05 (Lift and Escalator Installation) - RW02A/B (Lift Contractors) or RW03A/B (Escalator Contractors) registration

A one-time application fee of $109 (inclusive of 9% GST) is payable upon submission. The application fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of your application.
Upon SCAL’s approval of your application, you will notified to pay the SLOTS registration fee before your application can be finalized.
- For first TWO trades registered in the same category: $350.00
- Add-on fees for each additional trade of the same category: $50.00
All fees are subject to prevailing GST.
